In addition, the website Widescreen Online Review has a blog, entitled, 'The Reviews'.

'The Reviewshttp://www.widescreenonlinereview.com/thereviews.html' is the blog of the website 'Widescreen Online Review'. on its pages there will be my thoughts and reviews on both television series and movies (current and past).

And last not least, I updated the home page of  Widescreen Online Review.

'Widescreen Online Review' Has Gone Live!

As I have grown in my experience in working with websites and blogs, so has this website grown in its scope and depth since its creation in 2008. However, the most notable change is in the title. The website is no longer 'It’s A Woman’s Thing Online Fan Page' but  is now called  ‘Widescreen Online Review' instead.

I chose this name because it is more in keeping the nature of the website, which overall purpose is to convey some new and interesting bits of information from as many corners of the entertainment world as possible. In achieving this ‘Widescreen Online Review' ventures in such genres as science fiction, fantasy, horror, anime , comic, graphic novels, and couple of a personal favorites of mine, British’s drama - the classic as well as the contemporary.

The new name of this website is now also gender neutral. I am a female writer, however,  because I accept the darkside of my creative nature, you will only find dark dry flowers here, and definitely no recipes. From the above-mention genres, you will find interesting articles and links about  the latest in anime, books, films, and televisions series , which more often than not either tiptoe on rim of the darkside of life or struggle to transverse it while knee-deep in controversy. The delicious stuff!
The newbie of my creation is the ‘Comic Review’ room, which has been up  less than a year. This room features has a fantastic offering of links for comic books, graphic novels, digital comics, horror novels, American animation and Asia anime, and Manga. This room also features previews of video games and comic-based movies as well TV series made into comics.

There is even a ‘Xena’s Moments’ room in which selected video clips from the still popular ‘Xena Warrior Princess’ series is featured. The ‘Xena’s Moments’ room also feature current information on the series stars,  Lucy Lawless  and Renee O’Connor. This is room is a great trip portal down memory lane for diehard for Xena and Lucy fans.

In addition, you will find links to some of the best fan’s forums, as well as, fansites  dedicated to a favorite series, actor or actress. The Media room,  another section of ‘Widescreen Online’, contains trailers of ‘soon to come’ movies and Rss Feed room that is constantly updating itself.

In spike of its new name and the fact that many of its older pages are unlinked, the ‘Widescreen Online Review’ is not a fledgling website. It is a professional fansite that is improving with the ever passage of time.

Special note:  Many items here posted here are for 18 to mature and as the young have their ways of maneuvering the World Wide Web, strong  parental guidance is recommended.

Peace,

Evelyn
