NIKITA: IN SEARCH OF A TRUSTWORTHY MAN

In “Wanted”,
 Nikita Mears (that’s right after
these seasons Nikita (Maggie Q) has gain a last
name) has returned to Washington in search of a journalist, Dale Gordon (Todd
Grinnell) at ENN. Nikita wants to can tell Gordon her side of
what happen in the White House. She him and the world to know that the
President of the United States shot herself in the head after receiving a preprogrammed
command from Amanda (Melinda Clarke), who is also in hiding. However, Nikita
some learns that Amanda has beat her to the punch and set a trap for her
at the ENN news. So she must run with Gordon. 

The journalists
are answering questions as to who has the power to stop Nikita execution
ten years earlier and then train her as am assassin. Her old allies must now
work harder to save her as knowledge of Division threaten to become known.  

Meanwhile
in a side plot that explores the issue of human trafficking in India, Alex
(Lyndsy Fonseca)

is on the track of a female human trafficker and corrupt
politician in India. When Alex learns that that Nikita has reappeared,
she wants to divide her tack of capturing the human trafficker with that of saving
Nikita. However, she soon discovers that The Shop (a secret and
global organization that experiments on people using their new technology) is
involved in the trafficking of humans.

Things
go badly for Alex and Nikita fast. Alex gets an unwelcome visit
from Sam a.k.a Owen in India, and Nikita‘s one hope of
getting the truth out to the world is crushed in a bombing that kills Dale Gordon. 

Alone, hurt,
and unwilling to listen to her team, things are not looking good for Nikita
as the FBI, CIA, and Amanda tighten their nets. 

Surely, Nikita
will soon realize that her only hope is to turn things around and become the
hunter that her hunter taught her to be once more.

Seriously, Not the DC Comic's Hourman; Arrow, Constantine, Sleepy Hollow, Ravenswood, and More

I'm a great fan of the CW and their DC Comics based series. However, I don’t
believe we need a series based on a comic hero uses a PCP like or steroid like enhancement
drug (however fictitious) to give the character of Hourman superpowers. I believe the
main reason for the failure of the comic hero live-action series of Blade
(Kirk Jones) to fail was that the character has to use a drug to suppress his
urge to drink human blood from the vein. The creators of the series showed
Blade being injected with the drug and it immediately brought to mind the
illicit drug problem and in some ways looked like a how-to- inject yourself
demonstration. DC Comic has many better anti-superheroes and superhero to
fit the bill for a new CW - DC Comic based series without characters
like Hourman.

As it is in Arrow,
the character of Roy Harper (Colton Haynes) originally was a character
who from

bouts of drug addiction. Some far on the series Harper most trying
problems stems from his wanting to improve his criminal past, which so far has
no mention of illicit drugs. Should such a storyline appear, no doubt it would
a short one in that Harper triumph over his addition. Arrow after all is
what I call a ‘teen appeal’ series. So to air a series based on a character like
the Hourman would mean The CW risking more low ratings. 

Hourman
would probably do well a 2-hour movie, but as a 45-minute weekly series it
could spell another short-run disaster for The CW. While television censorship
has grown or is sorely lacking (a seriously debatable issue

today) with this new
trend of ‘shock TV programs’ on the use of previous thought bad language and increase
sexuality, the use of any possible series depicting its main character using enhancement
 and/or illicit drugs will surely cause  a major network block out. As it is, more television
programs are being blocked than ever before in broadcast and cable history.

Nevertheless, whatever Dc Comic character The
CW decides on offering the viewer is their choice. However, the final decision
to watch remains with the viewers.

My top three DC Comic characters choices for television
syndication are Nightwing (he’s
earned his place among the superheroes), Constantine (think, a good
Supernatural replacement as an occult detective), and Raven (a little dark and mysterious girl
power)

On the return of Sleepy Hollow on Fox, I must admit
that the series has surprised me in its increase in dramatic tension. After watching
several episodes before the series ‘s break,  I was ready to write off the series as a one

season dis-wonder as the likely failure and was a surprise when Fox came
the series an early renewal status,  but not
now. Now the storylines are so engaging with characters like the headless
Horsemen, Pestilent, and the horned demon that stalks and apparently controls everyone,
the dead and the living. Sleepy Hollow is rich in themes stemming from the
Bible and the Book of Revelation. 

Will Sleepy Hollow make it as a third season marvel?
Only time will tell. For now, good job to the writers of the series.

The final season of Nikita debuts tonight. Word around the
web is that if not for the clause in The CW and Netflix contract stating that Netflix
will stream series only if the series has definite ending, The CW would
probably not have given Nikita these last six rap-up episodes. Although this
sounds bad, for viewers of Netflix this is a plus. After all, who wants
to begin watching an older series only to get to the end and discover it has no
ending because the series was dropped from a network. 

Look for the new series The 100
and Star-Crossed on The CW
after the conclusion of Nikita this winter.

on The CW is up for possible cancellation after this season. No surprise.

The Supernatural
episode “Dog
Dean Afternoon” was one of the best episodes in the history of the series
so far. Dean’s (Jensen Ackles) portrayal of a dog was wonderfully humorous and
the episode as a whole was a good break from the usual supernatural tension of “hunting
down things” to save humanity from ending theme. Good job, I like to see this
episode rewarded for its creative storyline.

The ABC Family
series Ravenswood is on
it season break and will returns January 7, 2014   and after Pretty Little Liars. In the mid-season
finale of Ravenswood was very a luminous and gave views a glimpse of who Caleb
Rivers (Tyler Blackburn) and Miranda Collins (Nicole Gale Anderson)
were to each other in 1816. Apparently, after a wedding aboard ship, the first Caleb
and Miranda died along with three of their best friends. However, the question
of why they all died remains hidden in the past, and my guess that and this is
a guess, is that this pattern of five friends dying might not start with what
viewers believe are the first couple but goes back much farther in Ravenswood’s
history.

Now that the sweet-face, head twisting backward
demon of a child, Max (Isabel Myers) is not the one a pact was created
that demand the lives of five Ravenswood youth century after century. Perhaps
this is the mystery of the series (yeah, since Children of the Corn, The
Exorcist, and Atonement demonic children get to me).

So, who created the mysterious pact with the Devil? For
what reason was the pact created in the first place? In addition, how will Olivia
Matheson (Merritt Patterson) feel once she discovers that her boyfriend Dillon
(Luke Benward) is in lead with a demon and no doubt the Devil?

On Ravenswood, the tension is rising as the
lives of the remaining four Ravenswood youth are at stake.
