| Ian Somerhalder The Vampire Diaries |
Back in April of 2013 and again in November of reports were confirmed
that actor Ian Somerhalder from The Vampire Diaries would appear in Arrow as
the comic hero Nightwing. If you have read my post, DICK GRAYSON, AKA ROBIN, AKA NIGHTWING,
you would know that I am very much into Nightwing breaking out into the
spotlight with a film of his own. Therefore, to debut the character on the CW’s
hit series Arrow would be a great beginning for Nightwing.

This said, various news reports also stated that there was
no set time for Nightwing to appear on Arrow. Well, there are only five
episodes left in this
second season and no hint of a date on when Nightwing
will make his appearance. Nevertheless, fans of Nightwing are getting restless.
However, should Nightwing make his reported appearance this season fans would
be delighted not only to see a character on screen but also delights that Ian
Somerhalder has the role as Nightwing, and that it will be a recurring one for
him.

Also new on Arrow
is the move away from the familiar grease paint mask worn by Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) to darning an actual
mask. The dark mask is a much better idea and bring defines the character of
the Arrow as a superhero well.
