Turn: American First Spies Made Their Mark In History During The War With The British For American Independence

I
have always been a lover of period piece and historical based stories. If the
series, film, play, or book was a thriller or a mysterious adventure taking
place in the distant past of 300 hundred years or more, the better I enjoyed it.
it was to my delight that I discovered that AMC
Network
has such a series premiere next month.

The
show Turn tell the tale of farmer,
Abe Woodhull, who for love of country bands together a group of him childhood
friend and the first American's spies known as the Culper Ring.  this unlikely group of spies help General
George Washington turn the tide of was in favor of the raggedy band of American
troop, which enables they to defeat of British during the American Revolution.

AMC’s Turn, a historical
thriller,  is based on Alexander Rose’s book Washington's
Spies: The Story of America's First Spy Ring
, and stars Jamie
Bell as Abraham Woodhull, Seth Numrich as Ben Tallmadge, Heather Lind as Anna
Strong, Daniel Henshall as Caleb Brewster, Meegan Warner as Mary Woodhull,
Kevin McNally as Judge Richard Woodhull, Burn Gorman as Major Hewlett, Angus
MacFadyen as Robert Rogers, JJ Feild as Major John Andre, and Samuel Roukin as
Captain Simcoe.

See AMC’s Turn
