DramaFever is not the last --- More Shutdowns and Layoffs by Warner Bros



Recently it was announced that DC Publishing laid off at least seven of it 240 employees. That is BOUT  The lay off are due to the organization restructure of the Warner Bros.



As many fans of DramaFever, the streaming for Asian entertainment, was shutdown unexpectedly back on October 16, 2018 with many of its paying viewers not knowing that the shows they were watch ran on VRV until November 1, 2018.



Here is what was stated on Hollywood Reporter on Wednesday.



Layoffs at DC, a subsidiary of Warner Bros., include high-level
figures including senior vp sales trade marketing John Cunningham, vp
consumer marketing Eddie Scannell and senior vp art director Mark
Chiarello among those who have left the company, according to sources
familiar with the matter. 






Rumors about changes at the company, home to the DC, Vertigo and MAD
brands, have been circulating since Wednesday afternoon, helped by early, unsubstantiated reports
that speculated that DC publishers Dan DiDio and Jim Lee could be among
those leaving the company; that is not the case, with both actively
continuing in their current positions.




The company has been organized into three distinct areas as of
Wednesday's news: Editorial, which will continue to be overseen by
editor-in-chief Bob Harras; Production & Manufacturing, which
remains under the purview of senior vp manufacturing and operations
Alison Gill; and the newly created Publishing Support Services, which
will handle sales, marketing and promotion for DC product and be handled
by longtime DC veteran Hank Kanalz as senior vp publishing strategy
& support services.

Taipei, January 24 - Netflix, the world's leading streaming
entertainment platform, today announced that the original Chinese film
"Who Loves It First" will be premiered on February 1 in more than 190
countries.

Xu Yuting and Xu Zhiyan won the Asian New Director Award at the Hong
Kong Asian Film Festival for the first time as a director. The heroines
Xie Yingqi and Qiu Ze also won the highest awards in the Golden Horse
Award for best actress, Taipei Film Festival Best Actor and other
Chinese films.


 


"Who fell in love with him first" not only shines at Taiwan's box
office, but also sweeps across the major Chinese film awards in Asia.
The audience is very good, let Netflix choose to present this part to
the global audience before the Chinese lunar calendar. Touching works.

Xu Yuting, director and screenwriter, said, "From the theme, actors and
Netflix as the only platform for the world premiere, each choice is an
experiment. We let Taiwanese audiences and Asian audiences see the

world can use this story to think about it and see the new energy of
Chinese film in the outbreak."


 

The film narrates that Liu Sanlian (Xie Yingwei), who has paid for everything at home, has collapsed! Because the dying husband of the affair actually left the insurance claim to the outsider, and still a man!

About "Who Loves Him First"

 
"Who Loves Him First" is a Chinese tragedy comedy movie in Taiwan.
Co-directed by Xu Yuting, a well-known screenwriter, was directed by Xu
Zhiyan, the new director. The script was written by Dr. Lu Yiyuan, a
scriptwriter of the Admiral, starring Qiu Ze, Xie Yingwei, Chen Rushan
and Huang Shengqiu, dear studio production.

The film was released on November 2nd, 2018. After the premiere of the
2018 Taipei Film Festival, it swept through major Asian film festivals
and won the Golden Horse Award for Best Actress, Best Editing, Best
Original Film Song, and Taipei Film. The award's best feature film, best
male and female protagonists and media recommendations, as well as the
