Pedro Pascal to Star in Zach Cregger Newest film 'Weapons

It is not surprising that since his starring appearance
in the Star Wars epic series "The Mandalorian" on Disney+ that Pedro
Pascal sudden and successful rise on the American's screen has made him a much
sought after actor. Not only has Pascal been successful in his role as Din
Djarin, a harden Mandalorian bounty hunter turned savior and adoptive father of
Din Grogu, a young (50 year old )Yoda like creature, but in the HBO/Max series,
"The Last of Us" his role as Joel, a grieving father, who slowly
learns that the fatherly love that he had thought was buried after the death of
his daughter has grown and transcended to include Ellie, a young girl who may
or may be not the savior of mankind.

It is with these two emotional hijacking series that audiences
have come to enjoy the work of Pedro Pascal.

Now he is heading for a new project on the big screen in
actor turned filmmaker Zach Cregger, newest film “Weapons”. To date, there is nothing
released to tell us of the part Pascal will play in the film, which is being decided
as “a multi and inter-related horror epic
that is in the vein of  “Magnolia”, the 1999 psychological
drama film written, directed and co-produced by Paul Thomas Anderson”.

Although, Cregger as already written the screenplay for ‘Weapons’
it will probably be a while before we can see Pascal in the film out of respect
for the ongoing WGA writers strike.

Since this the case, and although both series have been renewed, "The Mandalorian"for a fourth season and
"The Last of Us" for a second season, both might be delayed because of the writers strike.

Stay tune!
