Until recently, not many of the people knew that I am a great opera and live theater fan. It is only recently and after many decades that I renewed my passion for attending the theater, and last year I got the see my favorite opera - Giacomo Puccini's "Madame Butterfly" at the Mahaffey Theater http://www.mahaffeytheater.com/main.php?acc=home.

Sarasota Opera Is Looking for Volunteer UshersHave you ever thought of ushering at a Sarasota Opera performance? This season's Grand Re-Opening of the Saraosta Opera House will be the perfect time to join the Sarasota Opera Usher corps. As a new benefit this year, ushers will be given a ticket to each of the Sarasota Opera Festival productions.
