More On The Writing Process

As any writer, especially professional writer can tell you, when writing a story about science fiction, fantasy, and horror research is important. This is particularly true with theme based on or alluding to mythology and/or historical events. This type research in invaluable and can be found in libraries, books for bookstores and yes, on the internet. This latter resource is rich with information to help any writer, in the above mention genre, come alive.
I have a personal collection of books  and magazines on the subject, and when necessary, I use web material to assist me as well. The web is a wonderful resource for research material, and with my fertile imagination.  A little research material thrown in the mix is all that needed for that authentic favor of a sci-fi or fantasy story. I hope to write many stories within this genre in the years to come.

In addition, I recently incorporated some mythology and historical references within a short story written as a class assignment. It is a horror story,  and I am not surprise that word and even details of it has traveled so fast and to places even would not expected for a first draft. However, that is a good thing. At least, it is known that I am writing, and that I am indeed a Sci-Fi Queen.

Moreover, creating it was so much fun and the theme so interesting that I plan expand on it with a second story

Evelyn out!
