DICK GRAYSON, AKA: ROBIN. AKA: NIGHTWING

IN THE BEGINNING THERE WAS A YOUNG BOY
WHO LOVED THE CIRCUS ...

Everyone knows the story of Dick Grayson
and his life a circus performer with the rest of his family. Fans of the
international DC Comics also know how billionaire Bruce Wayne adopted him because
he saw a spark of himself in the boy, and now Grayson stumbled on the fact the
Wayne was Batman, soon became Wayne’s sidekick, Robin.

Then after years as the super hero Robin,
Grayson began questioning his role as Batman sidekick. He began to feel that
Batman was holding his true potential as a crime fighter back and that Batman still
saw his as the young boy he had rescued after his family’s murder. As with any
father and son relationship there are growing pains and the things sometimes go
sour, until the day finally came when Grayson felt he must brake away from
Wayne and the Justice League to fight crimes on his terms, and he did so successful.

Nightwing as Grayson now calls himself is a new hero
and every aspect of his demeanor shows it. From his jet black outfit with the
flaming red bat cresting his chest to his no nonsense handling of creeps like Abattoir,
Baltzar, Baron Blitzkrieg, the  Batman Clone and of course Deathstroke,
Nightwing has prove himself an enforcer for good.

For years, we fans have watched Nightwing grow stronger.
So, now the question reminds will Nightwing find his place among the superheroes
who have previously have graced the silver screen? Will Nightwing finally be recognized
as a major player in the crime fighter arena? And now that Bruce Wayne has hung
up his bat wings will the next movie in the DC Comics’ franchised be that of Nightwing?

Ah,
one can only hope -- E A-F
