Everyone can agree that this season of The Walking Dead has by far been the most heart retching of all the
seven seasons. With Negan's brutal murder of Glenn and Abraham in episode one,
"The Day Will Come When You Won't Be", and the enslavement of Daryl ,
there doesn't appear to be much hope for Rick's little make shift family. And
let's not forget that Rick's spirit is either broken or he is truly at a loss of how to deal with Negan at this time. However, more will be reveal about Rick's true
state of mind in later episodes.
In this article I explore a possible scenario of a meeting
between to totally opposite characters that could prove to be deadly. They are Jesus
(Tom Payne) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan).

You, as readers, can probably already see where I am going
with this line of thought. First, we
have Jesus a hilltop recruiter and trustworthy and likeable Christ-like person,
who doesn't know the strength of his own persona. Second, we have the devil
incarnate in the form of Negan. Oh, no outrage, please. Negan has proven
himself to be the most hateable character in entertainment media since
Shakespeare's Richard The Third, and the
character of John Ryder in the 1986 film The Hitcher.
Each time he appears in a scene with Lucille, we shutter alongside the main
characters in the series. He is a sociopath with absolutely no redeemable
parts.
Nevertheless, at this
point in the TWD series it appears
that Jesus is an unknown to Negan, not
that Jesus poses a great threat to him.
However, understanding the way he thinks, Jesus could easily become a
target of Negan's Lucille. Negan's vindictive nature will broke no interference
in his control of his compound or the survivors of The Hilltop, Alexandria, and
The Kingdom communities that he torments, and the notion of torturing Jesus in
the most cruel way, and then crucifying him just to stress his control is not
beyond Negan in anyway.
Already the likelihood of a meeting between Negan and Jesus
looks possible. At the end of episode 5, "Go Getters", Jesus sneaks
into the Saviors truck that is returning to their compound. In addition, Carl
Grimes (Chandler Riggs) , is also on the truck, which, if Negan were to capture
the two of them, might turn out to be the one catalyst that forces Rick into
making another deadly choice. However, could such a death spur on a revolt
among the survivors?
Stay tune as there is only three episodes left in this
portion of TWD. You won’t want to miss the outcome of Jesus' and Carl's intrusion
into Negan's compound. It will be grim and gritty.

P.S.: As another wild
and dreadful scenario - Jesus turns out to be Negan's son. It wouldn't be the first time a son had
rejected the ways of the father.
