‘Equalizer’ Reboot a ‘Go’, ‘Go’

Remember the old CBS the ‘Equalizer’ that ran on NBC and in which British actor Edward Woodward played, Robert McCall, a retired intelligence agent turned private detective who helps various threatened clients to equalize the odds. The series ran from 1985 through 1989.

Well, actors Queen Latifah and Chris Noth are

picking up the reigns in the’ Equalizer’ reboot. In this series reimagining of, Queen Latifah plays Robyn, an enigmatic woman with a mysterious background who uses her extensive skills to help those with nowhere else to turn.

Chris Noth as William Bishop

And, Noth plays William Bishop, a quirky ex-CIA director who was Robyn’s first handler and has a father-daughter relationship with her.

 The series other stars are Lorraine Toussaint, Tory Kittles, Liza Lapira, and Laya DeLeon Hayes.
