The Great Spooks, Detectives & Special Agents on DramaFever

With so much to watch and so many ways to watch your
favorites shows it is not surprising that not all of the good series are on the
television. The number of network streaming sites are rapidly growing ,and your
choices of what to watch is steadily growing in numbers  with them.

Today's post highlights some of the series on DramaFever, which
is one of my recent discoveries for watching live-action Asian drama.

The
Series:

The
Scholar Who Walks The Night
 - The series
is about a handsome vampire and scholar named Kim Sung Yeol (Lee Joon Ki), whose
only reason for existing among the humans is to find the lost book of Crown
Prince Junghyun (Lee Hyun-Woo) that contain the secret for destroy an evil that
has haunted the royal palace for more than 200 years.

A
hundred and twenty years later when Jo Yang Sun (Lee Yoo Bi) is driven out of her
home after her father is framed for a crime, she is forced to crossdress in
order to make ends meet as a bookseller. When she meets Kim Sung Yeol (Lee Joon
Ki),  she fantasizes him to be the handsome
and mysterious Forbidden Quest, a savior who seeks to stop the evil presence in
the royal palace from destroying the Crown Prince and his rightful claim of the
throne.

The K2 - this series
is about Kim Je Ha (Ji Chang Wook), an elite soldier and former secret service
agent seeking to avenge the death of his fiancée who was ordered to be killed by
a corrupt politician. As he travels through Spain he meets a desperate runaway named
Go An Na (Im Yoon Ah), who turns out to be the hidden daughter of the
presidential hopeful who, only wants to be with her father.

Together
the two set out to avenge themselves on the corrupt business and government officials
who destroyed  their lives and also wants
them dead.

Let's Fight Ghost - in this dark-comedic supernatural
drama Bong Pal (Ok Taec Yeon), a high school student and an exorcist meets ghost
Hyun Ji (Kim So Hyun). Against his better judgment Bong Pal lets her live with
him so that she can fulfill her final desire which is to pass her college
entrance exams.  In return Hyun Ji’ joins
him in helping ghosts to move on to the afterlife.

However,
things go awry when a string of murders starts to point toward someone in their
circle. As the bodies and ghosts pile up, it is up the Bong Pal, Hyun Ji, and the
motley team of ghost busters of the Blood Sausage Soup club (Kang Ki-Young as Choi
Chun-Sang and David Lee as Kim In-Rang) to solve the murders and send the
ghosts on their way.

Scarlet
Heart: Ryeo
- In this star crossed lovers epic Hae-Soo (Lee Ji Eun (IU)) is
a 21st century woman who is transported during an eclipse of the sun to the Goryeo
Dynasty of the 10th century where she witnesses the lives and turmoils of King
Wanggun (Jo Min-Gi) and his princes.  While
living there, Hae-Soo reluctantly loses her heart to 4th Prince Wang So (Lee
Joon-Gi), a.k.a the Wolf Dog, who Hae-Soo knows from her study of history led a
terrifying and bloody reign as king.

Vampire
Detective
- During a routine investigation rookie cop Yoon San (Lee Joon)
is shot by his fiancée, Yo-Na (Lee Chung-Ah). A year later while tracking down
the brother of his secretary, Han Gyeo-Wool (Lee Se-Young),
Yoon San is turned into a day walking vampire by a mysterious doctor.

It
is then that Yoon San uses his vampiric powers to help his partner Yong
Goo-Hyung (Oh Jung-Se) to solve cases and to discover the mysteries of his own
case and that of his missing fiancée.

These
series are just a few of the great shows you can stream on Drama Fever. You can
watch them by either going directly to DramaFever.com or from your Roku TV
with the Drama Fever app.

Although
many of the series and live-action films are free to watch, there is a small $4.99
fee to watch them commercial free with a premium plan. All the series and
live-action films are English subbed.

I
suggest going with the premium plan.

As
I stated above streaming networks are growing and series like these are
artfully done and with actors and actresses making them worth the watch.

P.S.:
Speaking of Roku TV, if you are a fan of
anime series, you can now stream them on Roku with the Funimation, Crunchyroll and Anime Network apps.
