Well, we all were waiting for the answer. Now we know who Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan)
killed, and we were totally shocked when he chose Abraham Ford (Michael Cudlitz).
After witnessing Ford's brutal murder we figured it was over and that we would
never see Lucille in action like that again. How wrong we
were to think so.
No sooner had Negan finished with killing Ford, Daryl (Norman

Reedus) went for him. Our hearts pounded fiercely in our chests because we believed Daryl to be the next dead
man. But, no, Negan proved that he
does not work that way. Instead of killing Daryl as we expected, he slaughtered
poor Glenn (Steven Yeun).
Although, there had been rumors that Glenn might be the
victim, for months, we hid the hope that it would not come to pass. And, yes, we
can all freely admit that after Ford's death there was a collective sigh of
relief in thinking that Glenn would survive. However, Negan quickly stole that from
us with his Lucille.
As fans of the show we felt it deeply because Glenn
had been with the group of survivors long before Rick (Andrew Lincoln) woke
from his coma. The group counted on Glenn
to scout the land ahead and find provisions on his motorcycle whenever the need
arose, and his wife, Maggie (Lauren Cohan) loved him deeply.
If Rick's little group became a true family over
these past seasons, then Glenn was a major part of it. Like Hershel Greene
(Scott Wilson), Glenn will be missed but never forgotten.
As Rick told Negan, " Not today, Not tomorrow, …."
