Recently the Hollywood Reporter posted it 100

the opinion of the Hollywood Reporter(s) involved from that group of films this
reviewer has selected 24 films and added one not mention to this list for the

Die Hard, yes it is a Christmas film.

2

E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial (1982), Where’s the sequel!??

8

3

The Usual Suspects (1995) Most famous quote of all time,  “After that, I guess that you will never
hear from him again. The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing
the world he did not exist. And like that... he is gone.” — Verbal (So true.)

48

4

Citizen
Kane (1941), in some cases the measure of love is not in riches and power
freely given, but in a little red wagon -- Rosebud.

3

5

Beauty and the Beast, Feel the love.

86

6

Braveheart (1995), It took the greatest sacrifice to change a
nation.

89

7

Alien (1979) First strong female in a Sci-fi film

42

8

Rear Window (1954) Should we really be spying on our neighbors???

49

9

WarGames (1983) a personal choice of mine because it parallels Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb. The
incompetent of General Buck Turgidson in the film made him more worry about the Russian
ambassador entering the war room to help avoid war; while in War Game, the
greatest fear was the artificial intelligence of a supercomputer threat to start World War III.

Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the
Bomb (1964). Idiots in charge. Hmm.

99

13

The
Shining, What can I say, I love Jack in thus.

One
Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975), the cost of a story can be personal.

30

15

Blade
Runner (1982) What is life? And are we ready for our self-made superiors? No.
Watch I Robot.

29

16

Singin'
in the Rain, A sucker for the old crooners.

26

17

Jaws, the greatest shark
film ever, and I am not saying because I live in Florida. Well, maybe I am.

24

18

Lawrence
of Arabia, an incredible film, an incredible life.

23

19

The
Silence of the Lambs a film that is paralleled by Fox's  series, Prodigal Son, in that
really bad relationships can be deathly intoxicating. While too in the Prodigal Son
the question of “Is hereditary insanity real? Is also asked.

22

20

Raiders
of the Lost Ark, great adventure film. Where the new Indie?
