Now that we are all over the shock that the CW’s longest-running
series (15years) Supernatural, which returns on March 17th, is ending, will the
new series The Lost Boys answer the call for a continuation of the eternal
fight against vampires and perhaps a few other monsters?
Like the 1987 film of the same name, The Lost Boys the series
is about two brothers and their mother returning to her sunny seaside home of
Santa Carla, which is also known for its beautiful boardwalk, teaming tourist
shops -- and yes, its secret horde of bloodthirsty vampires.

The brothers soon learn that as idealist as Santa Carla
appears on the surface, not everything about it is ideal after the sun goes
down; and that they must fight against being drawn into the seductive world of
their vampire neighbors.
