Marvel’s Agents of S.H.E.I.L.D An Original And Innovative New Television Series

There are numerous new television series debuting this October and later this year. The most recently addition to our regular TV fair is Marvel’s Agents of S.H.E.I.L.D, which debut on September 23, 2013 with DECLASSIFIED: Episode 1 on the ABC Network Channel.

The prime objected of the Agents of S.H.E.I.L.D is to find and recruit, if possible, humans who for one reason or another possess super power. In addition, by pulling these super being off the streets, S.H.E.I.L.D is not only protect the ordinary people but also protecting the super being.

From the start, fans of the series learn that Agents of S.H.E.I.L.D is not a branch the government and that their agents’ security clearance, Level 7, is much higher than that of the Avengers. Will any of the avengers make an appearance on this new series, it appears doubtful, or at least, questionable. In the pilot, DECLASSIFIED: Episode 1, in cinematic story telling Agents of S.H.E.I.L.D proved that there are more adventures with plenty of unknown superheroes as well as monsters.

The head of the Agents of S.H.E.I.L.D is Phil Coulson, played by Clark Gregg, and well-known character is the Marvel Comics and films. However, unknown to Coulson there is a secret about himself that others in S.H.E.I.L.D are not sharing with him. Namely and possibly, he truly died and he never visited Tahiti. For now, he believes his small team of normal human can make as much of a difference as those with super powers.

Next is Grant Ward played by Brett Dalton. Before S.H.E.I.L.D, Ward was a field operative highly trained in combat and espionage. At the start of his career with S.H.E.I.L.D, he doubted his effectiveness as a member of S.H.E.I.L.D, but that all changed after dealing with the hulk-like human, Mike Peterson, played by J. August Richards, whose only wish is the be a hero
.
After a work related accident, Mike lost his job, in desperation his agreed to treatment from a woman doctor who implants his with a device resembling a Centipede. The Centipede is so unstable that the host becomes a walking bomb.

Agent Ward experience with Mike provides proof of his usefulness in S.H.E.I.L.D.
Melinda May  played by Ming-Na Wen, Agent May is an expert pilot and martial artist. She known as a legendary agent in the agency, herself preference of a quiet desk job in recent years makes her, then, retirement as a field agent mysterious.

Leo Fitz played by Iain De Caestecker is the resident engineer. Although, socially awkward he is always on the same wavelength as his research partner, Jemma Simmons.

Jemma Simmons played by Elizabeth Henstridge is a genius biochemist and the rising star in S.H.I.E.L.D.’s research division. She and Leo Fitz bicker often, but they are inseparable friend and partner.
Skye played by Chloe Bennet, the computer hacker, whom aim was to provide public awareness of the super being and monster in their city and to force S.H.E.I.L.D out into open. In stead she, is recruited into becomes an S.H.E.I.L.D agent after the successful capture and saving of Mike.

I see Marvel’s Agents of S.H.E.I.L.D lasting the long run as a series favorite. The series airs every Tuesday night at 8//9c on ABC.
