I do not know about you but I expected a little superpower
interaction in ABC Marvel’s
Agents of S.H.E.I.L.D. However, the
disappointment is clear that in the storyline S.H.E.I.L.D main objection is
the finding and removing from normal society people who possess super powers either
by birth or by the unnatural manipulation of the people of Project Centipede
and their use of Extremis. Although a good premise for a television series,
the lack of individual with super powers aiding the S.H.E.I.L.D team is a major
drawback.
When compared with The CW’s The Tomorrow People, Marvel’s Agents of
S.H.E.I.L.D.
is less interesting. In The Tomorrow People, which is all about to help other like themselves
live normal lives away from the eyes of the Ultra, who sees them as nothing but
a threat and a rival to normal humanity. Ultra is a real threat to the Tomorrow
People because their goals are to either change the tomorrow people back into
normal humans, recruit them for Ultra’s own purposes, or, if these two options
fail, to kill the Tomorrow People outright. Exciting!
